What's in Ward 4?
Ward 4 is one of Guelph’s most diverse and dynamic communities. It includes the residential neighbourhoods of Willow West Woods and Parkwood Gardens, along with schools, churches, local businesses, shopping areas, and many community support organizations that help people feel connected and supported.
Ward 4 is also home to Guelph’s largest industrial and employment area, where small, medium, and large businesses help drive our local economy and provide jobs for residents across the city. The ward includes important community spaces and institutions such as the West End Community Centre, Conestogoa College Guelph, beautiful parks and trails, and organizations like the West Village Co-op, which plays an important role in supporting families and strengthening local food security.
Ward 4 reflects many of the opportunities and challenges facing Guelph today: growth, infrastructure renewal, housing affordability, economic development, poverty, and community wellbeing. These issues affect people’s daily lives and require thoughtful planning, practical leadership, and strong community engagement.
Because Ward 4 is separated from much of the city by the Hanlon, many residents feel the west end is too often overlooked at City Hall. I want to help change that by being a strong voice for Ward 4 and ensuring local concerns are heard and acted on.
